Total balance $26,037.36 Of that money, about $10,000 is for the Hawk, operating budget is about $7500. CPR cost the club $615, RRCA training brought in a profit of $175. All race expenses are paid and up to date.
Skyline Shuffle Race Report -- Josh
Successes - Facebook advertising was incredibly effective, spent $40 or less and got 15-20 registrations from that ad. Lots of new people who had no ties to Trail Hawks participated. The race made …

Lawrence Trail Hawks conducted their monthly meeting at the Lawrence Public Library on May 1. 39 members attended.
Lisa called the meeting order at 7 p.m.
Josh: $20,879.26 operating fund at the moment. $10,000 expenses to spend if needed.The rest is to spend on other race expenses for the rest of the year.
Skyline Shuffle: 45 registered, 17 that are new and have not participated on any races on UltraSignup.com. Josh used a Facebook ad to get new people to sign up. Josh is going to mark it this weekend and the weather looks good.

Lisa:Volunteer recognition: Josh and Lisa have been working on the idea of a volunteer recognition program. The idea of the program is to keep volunteers and race directors happy. To prevent extra work on RDs, someone else would be in charge of the program. The duo is reviewing the idea of a common volunteer shirt to help with …

Josh: Financial report: $18,830.58 current balance. Current operating fund is $12,000 operating fund. We’ve made $415 membership revenue. Last year we had over $2,000 from membership revenue.
Josh-Accountant: Our average revenue will be above 50,000 for the third year in a row, which requires LTH to file a special tax non-profit form. The form has 50 page manual of instructions for adding a tax item. Looking for a CPA to help file …

Josh McVey-Treasurer’s Report: The Lawrence Trail Hawks are 100% transparency thanks to the Google Doc’s that Josh has made. Last year the Race Directors managed the races well and make it easy for Josh. In 2017, the LTH spent $7,461.28 on non-race expense. The club bought LTH Tech Shirts, so buy one! The Lawrence Trail Hawks Board of Directors held its monthly meeting May 17, at the Lawrence Public Library. At one of these Whitewater Center meetings last October, Linda Craghead, assistant secretary of parks and tourism, said she would love to see alternative ideas to help the parks make some money. So I sent her the following email with a few ideas for less expensive, less intrusive ideas for methods that could be instituted in many parks, trying to be positive and encouraging as possible.
