Due to current trail conditions, forecasts of inclement weather, and upcoming trail repair work, the Shoreline Shuffle 5K Trail Race, set for Saturday, May 2nd, 8 a.m., is moving off the North Shore Trail System to its alternate trail course.

The Board of Directors met at 6 pm, Sunday, Feb. 15, in office spaces provided by Jeff Triplett, club webmaster. All board members were present: Bill Loats, president Sherrie Klover, vice president Justin Douglas, treasurer Gary Henry, secretary Caroline Wroczynski, membership director (non-voting) Jeff Triplett, webmaster (non-voting)

Board members discussed the following items:

a. New event — the Nighthawk 50K

b. Storage unit management

c. Trail Hawk car magnets

d. Lifetime membership dues option

e. Monthly club meetings

f. Trash pick-up event on North Shore trails

About 40 Trail Hawks and guests gathered at the Lawrence Community Building, Saturday, Jan. 24, for the 6th annual All-Hands Members Meeting, scheduled for 6-9 pm. Members provided a potluck buffet with beer.

All board members were present, except for Justin Douglas, Treasurer, who provided the club financials to be delivered in his absence by the club secretary.

Vice President Bill Loats called the meeting to order about 6:30 p.m.

The Lawrence Trail Hawks Annual All-Hands meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, 6-9 pm at the Lawrence Community Building, 115 W. 11th St., between Vermont and Mass., in Community Room 1.
