The Lawrence Trail Hawks Board of Directors held its monthly meeting May 17, at the Lawrence Public Library. Attending: Matt O’Reilly, President, Benita Jones, Vice President; Josh McVey, Treasurer; Kara Protasio, Secretary; Ami Weidler-Hyten, RD for the Hawk, Trudi Chavez, Saturday Run Leader and Gary Henry, former Secretary. Matt called the meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.

At one of these Whitewater Center meetings last October, Linda Craghead, assistant secretary of parks and tourism, said she would love to see alternative ideas to help the parks make some money. So I sent her the following email with a few ideas for less expensive, less intrusive ideas for methods that could be instituted in many parks, trying to be positive and encouraging as possible.

I went to the community meeting about the proposed Whitewater Park development at Clinton Lake, held at the Cider Gallery in North Lawrence last night. Several Attend 9th Annual Lawrence Trail Hawks All Hands Meeting
After eating several delicious goodies and countless enjoyable conversations, former President Sherri “Signer Hawk” Klover called the 9th annual Lawrence Trail Hawk all hands meeting to order around 7:08 p.m. on Jan. 21. Klover began the meeting with her address to all the members.
